FIANARANTSOA - TEA & TALK MADAGASCAR

In Fianarantsoa, Madagascar’s Southern Highlands, financial barriers such as tuition, textbooks, and living expenses often prevent talented students from pursuing higher education, limiting access to university despite their academic potential.

In 2023, Anjiro Initiative partnered with Tea & Talk Madagascar, a local organization dedicated to youth empowerment through English education and leadership development, to launch a university scholarship program.  Anjiro Initiative’s Madagascar Country Team collaborates with Tea & Talk alumni and educators to manage the selection process. An online application form ensures accessibility for Tea & Talk members, while regular visits to Fianarantsoa maintain trust and responsiveness to community needs. This initiative empowers students to become future leaders, fostering lasting change in Madagascar.
