MAHABO-MANANIVO

Since 2023, Anjiro Initiative has partnered with Missouri Botanical Garden Madagascar to advance inclusive, quality education and promote sustainable development in Madagascar’s southeastern region. Through this collaboration, students at the middle school in Mahabo-Mananivo receive scholarship support designed to foster equitable access to education while integrating environmental awareness into the learning experience.

In alignment with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals—particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 13 (Climate Action)—this initiative encourages students to engage with local conservation efforts and biodiversity preservation. Missouri Botanical Garden Madagascar, in cooperation with the National Protected Area (NAP) Agnalazaha, plays a key role in nurturing environmental consciousness among youth and supporting community resilience through education.
